Chris Landman, Director of Computing Services

As Director of Computing Services at ElectSolve, Chris directs our IT and network security department that provides an impressive variety of related services to our utility/energy industry clients. Chris handles the deployment and management of applications and appliances to ensure that the network infrastructure and security strikes a workable balance. Chris also provides project management to network deployments to include firewalls, routers, switches on the network side and Windows Active Directory and/or Exchange on the server application side.

While at ElectSolve, Chris has implemented several networks to bring our clients into the 21st century with state of the art infrastructure and cutting edge technology. This includes network infrastructure, servers and security domains, WiFi and WiMax, Microsoft Exchange solutions, and Cisco VoIP systems. Chris and his group also work on SCADA and PCI-complaint items within sensitive environments, Auditing, Penetration Testing, Information Security & Assurance, Robust & Scalable Network Architecture, Backup & Disaster Recovery, VPN / WAN / LAN Infrastructures, Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis, Full Life Cycle Project Management, Risk Mitigation, Security Auditing, and Regulatory Compliance.

Chris has over 15 years of network and security experience in the public and private sector including Information Systems Security Officer for the US Army and the Network/Security Manager of the multi-million non-profit organization Chimp Haven.
Some of Chris’ many impressive accreditations and certifications are Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level II, Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP), Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security), Cisco Certified Network Associate Voice (CCNA Voice), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI), and the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) 4011-4016. Chris holds a B.S. of Science in Information Technology from University of Phoenix, as well as his Masters of Science in Information Assurance from University of Dallas, in Dallas, TX which is only one of seven universities in the world designated by the NSA and the DHS to meet all six NSTISSI/ CNSS standards 4011, 4012, 4013, 4014, 4015 and 4016.
